Ancient Veda special Henna powder and Henna oil are mixed to form a dark paste. Using an applicator, linear designs are drawn on the body. After the paste has set, the paste is removed and reddish brown markings remain on the skin. These designs last 7 to 12 days on the skin, fading gradually until they disappear. This is why henna is also called temporary tattoo.
